Job Summary

This role involves the crucial commissioning and testing of electrical systems and substations, focusing heavily on modern protection and control technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and resolving faults within protection and control systems, as well as programming and parameterizing protection devices for high and medium-voltage grids. You will utilize modern testing technologies to commission digital protection and control systems and collaborate closely with site managers, project leads, and planning teams. Key requirements include a background in electrical engineering, further qualification as a certified technician or a relevant degree, and several years of professional experience in commissioning switchgear and knowledge of protection and control technology. This position requires extensive travel across Germany from Monday to Thursday, making a Class B driver's license essential.
