Job Summary

This role involves supporting and developing the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations across the company. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, IT workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals. A key part of the job is providing 2nd-level support, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues both remotely and on-site, serving as the primary contact for employee technical inquiries, and maintaining a service-friendly approach. Furthermore, the specialist will assist in operating and enhancing IT security solutions (e.g., Endpoint Protection, Firewalls, Patch Management) and actively contribute to improving internal IT processes through thorough documentation in the ticketing system. This position requires a background in IT systems integration or computer science, strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, and proficiency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a degree in Computer Science, Network Technology, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience with Windows Servers and Windows Server services
  • Professional experience with Exchange Servers
  • Experience in setting up and administering Active Directory domain structures
  • Experience using software distribution systems, software packaging, and Mobile Device Management
