This role as a (Junior) PLC Programmer is centered on developing and optimizing advanced technology solutions for clients in electrical and automation engineering. Your daily responsibilities will include the conception, programming, and optimization of customized PLC control systems. You will also perform crucial tasks such as error analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing machine and plant controls. A significant part of the job involves programming machine and plant visualizations and executing the commissioning of new systems, followed by the creation and verification of technical documentation. To qualify, you must hold a completed technical degree or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician, along with initial professional experience in PLC programming and commissioning. Essential technical knowledge includes electrical and automation engineering, specifically utilizing SIMATIC S7 or Beckhoff controls and visualization tools like WinCC and TIA-Portal.
