Job Summary

Join the State Office for Metrology and Verification NRW (LBME NRW) in Cologne as an IT Service and System Administrator, contributing to consumer protection and fair competition. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous development of the IT infrastructure for the entire LBME, including its nine branch offices across North Rhine-Westphalia. You'll be responsible for monitoring and updating IT services, managing user accounts and access rights, overseeing server applications, and providing second-level support for IT network and system inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Information Technology or a related field, or relevant vocational training with significant professional experience, coupled with expertise in complex IT system administration, Windows Servers, IT networks, virtualization, and IT security.
