Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Model Development Engineer specializing in MATLAB/Simulink, focusing on advancing technology solutions for major OEMs and suppliers within the automotive industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining, setting up, and executing driving and component simulations, taking ownership of model development using MATLAB/Simulink in close coordination with clients, and commissioning and testing developed models using methods like MiL (Model-in-the-Loop) and HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop). The engineer will also be responsible for validating, refining the simulation models, evaluating system functions, and maintaining technical documentation. Key qualifications include a degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering), excellent proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and good command of both German and English.
