Job Summary
The Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is seeking a dedicated Digitalization Officer to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in advancing the ministry's digitalization initiatives, particularly focusing on the implementation of the Online Access Act (OZG) and the Single Digital Gateway (SDG2) regulation. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating and providing technical advice for administrative digitalization within the department, especially concerning funding procedures. You will lead and implement projects aimed at full digitalization of application processes and contribute to the development of guidelines for OZG 2.0 requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital government services in Bavaria, working collaboratively on inter-ministerial projects and ensuring the state's economic competitiveness through innovation and efficient digital processes. The role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for public sector modernization.
Required Skills
Education
University Diploma (Univ.) or Master's degree (consecutive, at least 300 ECTS) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, with a final grade of 1.8 or better.
Experience
- Experience in committee work and administrative procedures (e.g., cabinet submissions)
- Experience with processing funding procedures (ideally)
- Experience in managing digital projects (beneficial)
