Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Commissioning Technician, specifically an Electrician or Electrical Engineer, to join a team in Salzgitter focusing on rail vehicles. The core responsibilities involve the rigorous testing and commissioning of rolling stock according to detailed specifications. Day-to-day tasks include independently establishing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic functions, performing complex troubleshooting based on circuit diagrams, function plans, and technical drawings, and diagnosing issues related to electrical, software, and climate systems. A key requirement is a completed vocational training as an Electrician or Electrical Technician. The ideal candidate must be capable of operating complex systems independently after instruction, adhering strictly to safety and EHS regulations, and must be comfortable working in challenging environments, including confined spaces, at heights up to 4 meters, and occasionally outdoors.
