Job Summary
The Web Analytics and Tracking Specialist will be the technical backbone for the Online Marketing team, ensuring access to precise, valid, and structured data via tools like Power BI, Excel, the Klar attribution tool, and SQL queries within the Marketing Data Warehouse. Day-to-day responsibilities include the continuous development and implementation of the web tracking setup, focusing on Client- and Server-Side Tagging using Jentis, GA4, Meta CAPI, and Consent Mode. The role requires building and maintaining a consistent Event and Data-Layer Framework, ensuring high data quality through monitoring tools (GA4 DebugView, Tag Assistant), and collaborating closely with developers on tracking requirements (DOM-Parsing, API interfaces). This position is ideal for an experienced professional with deep knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager who is keen on staying ahead of new tracking technologies and data privacy regulations (DSGVO, ITP/ETP, Consent Mode v2) while supporting the wider marketing and product teams with robust data collection.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Digital Analytics, Web Development, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Minimum four years of professional experience in web tracking, tagging implementation, and web analysis
- Extensive experience with Power BI, Excel, and Klar (Attribution tool)
- Experience with setting up, testing, and validating Consent Management Solutions (CMPs)
- Professional experience working with Marketing Data-Warehouse environments
