Job Summary
The City of Lübeck is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician or Master Craftsman to join the Technical Building Management / Facility Management team. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational readiness and safety of municipal buildings, focusing specifically on electrical systems. Key responsibilities include organizing and overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and repair of building technical systems, ensuring compliance with traffic safety regulations, and managing small-scale construction and renovation projects. The successful candidate will prepare service specifications, assist in procurement processes, and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a central Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) database. This position requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, experience with construction project management, and proficiency in dealing with older building structures, offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility within a supportive team environment.
Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification (e.g., Master Craftsman) in a relevant technical field.

- Professional experience in technical building management / facility management
- Experience in dealing with older building structures
- Experience in construction project management (Bauleitung)
- Desirable: Cross-trade experience (gewerkeübergreifende Erfahrungen)
