Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent leadership position in the City of Hildesheim's IT Department, overseeing the IT Services Division, which supports approximately 1,300 workstations and over 100 specialized applications across 59 municipal properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, planning, and organization of IT Client Management for the administration and local schools. Key duties include defining and maintaining a service catalog, managing the operative implementation of IT services, and leading the First-Level Support (User Help Desk and On-Site Service). The role requires strong organizational skills, financial acumen to manage resources effectively, and close collaboration with other IT areas to ensure IT security and documentation standards are met. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, coupled with multi-year experience in IT Service Management and, ideally, prior leadership experience.
