Job Summary
This full-time Information Security Officer role involves developing, expanding, and revising existing IT security concepts and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and technical requirements. The officer will advise the leadership team on all matters of information security, coordinate security objectives, and verify implementation measures for optimal data and IT security. Key responsibilities also include supporting departments with security and data protection queries, acting as the primary contact for the District Office regarding information security, and conducting necessary security training. Candidates should possess a degree in Informatics or relevant training, practical experience with security frameworks (like BSI IT-Grundschutz or ISO 27001), and the willingness to obtain the necessary Information Security Officer certification. This position offers an interesting role within the public sector, adhering to TVöD compensation standards.
Required Skills
Education
University degree or University of Applied Sciences degree in Administrative Informatics or Informatics, or relevant vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist). Certification as an Information Security Officer or willingness to acquire the necessary certification.
Experience
- Professional experience with Information Security concepts (e.g., IT-Grundschutz BSI, ISO 27001) or willingness to acquire this knowledge
- Experience in autonomous project leadership (willingness required)
- Knowledge of public administration (advantageous)
