Job Summary

This role involves maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting test benches and associated operational and system technology within the research and development environment, specifically focusing on vehicle technology in Nuremberg. The Test Bench Electronics Technician will be responsible for locating, analyzing, and resolving faults in programs across various PLC and contactor control systems, as well as electrical and mechatronic systems. Key activities include documenting modifications and changes, particularly using EPLAN, implementing optimization suggestions, and performing basic mechanical tasks while strictly adhering to safety regulations. The ideal candidate must be a qualified electrician (up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC) with strong expertise in Siemens S7 control technology, TIA Portal, and MSR technology, complemented by good proficiency in both German and English.
