Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Project Planner specializing in Plant Engineering to join the team in Erlangen, focusing on complex, turnkey High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects within the energy sector. The core responsibilities involve creating, maintaining, and optimizing detailed schedules throughout the project lifecycle—from proposal to execution. This includes close coordination with project leadership, continuous monitoring of progress, and performing critical analyses such as deviation analysis, Milestone Trend Analysis (MTA), and critical path identification to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical background) and brings at least three years of professional experience in project execution, coupled with strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and established project control methodologies. This permanent position offers flexible working hours and the chance to work on challenging, innovative projects with a high degree of personal responsibility.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable technical field; alternatively, Technical vocational training.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in project execution
  • Professional experience in a technical environment (ideal)
  • Demonstrable experience in Project Management (if technical training is primary qualification)
