Job Summary

This role seeks a Project and Commissioning Engineer specializing in Automation and Control Technology to join the team in Erlangen. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing commissioning activities on national and international construction sites, supporting project management, and ensuring technical quality through rigorous testing and documentation review. The engineer will be responsible for creating technical concepts, drawings, software, and calculations according to current standards, defining scopes of delivery, and ensuring timely, technically sound project execution aligned with contractual specifications. A key part of the role involves customer interaction, including conducting on-site training and inductions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses expertise in tools like Matlab/Simulink, Simatic Step 7, and PCS 7. This position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work in an innovative environment, although it requires approximately 30% project-related travel, including assignments up to three months long.
