Job Summary
The Amt Spreenhagen is seeking a dedicated Tax Administrator to join their team. In this full-time, permanent position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the tax department by assisting with the introduction of VAT, providing support for debit and credit accounting with a focus on tax aspects, and preparing assessments for various tax processes including property, second home, dog, and trade taxes. You will also be responsible for reconciling master data for tax-relevant information and aiding in the implementation of electronic tax files. This role requires a strong understanding of numbers, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in public administration or commercial finance with relevant experience in accounting and tax, coupled with good IT skills.

Education
Completed training as an Administrative Assistant (Verwaltungsfachangestellter/Angestelltenlehrgang I) or comparable commercial training
Experience
- Professional experience in finance/tax, particularly in accounting
- Experience in accounting (preferably in the public sector)

- Valid Class B driving license; Willingness to familiarize oneself with new topics/programs; Obligation to obtain a police clearance certificate at own expense if selected for hire.
