This role involves designing and implementing a comprehensive Radio Frequency (RF) system architecture that ensures reliable, secure, and high-performance data transmission across space, ground, and user systems. The architect will define system-wide requirements for RF transmission, modulation techniques, link budgets, and radio access concepts, ensuring technical compatibility and interoperability across all segments. Key responsibilities include managing the integration strategy across multiple technical domains and subcontractors, defining interface specifications, and overseeing design, testing, and verification activities. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Aerospace Engineering, coupled with significant professional experience in RF systems, satellite communication architectures, and advanced signal processing. This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to drive innovation in high-frequency communication systems, including contributions to R&D in areas like beamforming and AI-supported optimization.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable technical fields; INCOSE certification is advantageous

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in RF systems, high-frequency communication, or satellite communication architectures
  • Demonstrable experience in cross-domain system integration
  • Experience in managing subcontractors
  • Experience with Link-Budget-Analyses, propagation models, and frequency/spectrum management
  • Experience in technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams
