Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Laboratory Technician or Technical Assistant specializing in Downstream Development to join a leading European biopharma CDMO focused on producing life-saving medicines. The core responsibilities involve the independent execution and precise documentation of complex process steps, adhering strictly to regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include operating and programming sophisticated chromatography and filtration systems at the lab scale for the development and characterization of biopharmaceutical protein purification processes. You will also perform essential protein chemistry analysis using methods like Spectrometry and HPLC. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree (e.g., Biology, Biotech) or completed technical training, possesses strong knowledge of protein purification techniques, and has a basic understanding of pharmaceutical environments. Success in this position requires excellent teamwork, flexibility, and fluency in both written and spoken German and English, contributing to a meaningful purpose in a secure, permanent role.
