Job Summary

This role is for an independent Service Technician specializing in the maintenance and repair of loading dock, safety equipment, and industrial door systems. The successful candidate will manage a regional customer base within approximately 150 km of their residence, performing inspections, maintenance, and service work on both proprietary and third-party products. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safe and smooth functionality of customer equipment and solving problems autonomously with a strong service mindset. Candidates should possess a technical background (e.g., Electrician, Mechatronics Technician) and ideally have foundational knowledge in hydraulics, electrical engineering, and control technology. A high priority on work safety, including comfort working at heights using ladders and lifts, is essential. This position offers a company service vehicle, regional work allowing for evening returns home, extensive training, and 30 days of annual leave.
