Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive planning, installation, and operation of critical LAN and WLAN infrastructures, supporting both internal data center environments and international clients. The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing new site connections, coordinating hardware relocations, and executing infrastructure refreshes. A core part of the job is maintaining stable network operations, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with network standards and security policies across Routing & Switching, Wireless, Firewall, and WAN domains. The ideal candidate must possess several years of experience in these areas, coupled with knowledge of key vendor technologies (Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, Aruba, Meraki), and hold relevant certifications like CCNA/CCNP or Check Point Certified Security Admin. This position offers a challenging environment where technical documentation, 2nd/3rd level support, and 7x24 troubleshooting are daily activities, requiring a structured, analytical, and self-reliant working style.

Required Skills

Education

Completed IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable university degree

Experience

  • Several years of experience in LAN, WLAN, and WAN technologies
  • Knowledge of network security and security protocols
  • Experience with network management, monitoring, or automation
  • Experience in 2nd/3rd level technical support
