Job Summary
This crucial role involves acting as the Shift Supervisor for a brand-new production facility dedicated to medical rinsing solutions, located in Glandorf, Germany. Before the official start of regular production in Autumn 2026, you will be an integral part of the project team responsible for setting up the production line. Your daily responsibilities include the disciplinary and technical guidance of your shift team, managing personnel deployment, and ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory, legal, and safety requirements pertaining to the manufacture of drugs and medical devices. You will serve as the primary link between the Product Line Manager and production staff, actively engaging in batch release, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and supporting internal/external audits. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or pharmaceutical vocational background, strong leadership potential, and a commitment to continuous improvement using Lean and OPEX principles. This is a unique opportunity to shape operational processes from the ground up within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in a skilled trade, technical, or pharmaceutical field; Successfully completed training as an Industrial Master or comparable qualification in the pharmaceutical or food sector, OR willingness to acquire this qualification.
Experience
- Experience in employee leadership (desirable)
- Professional experience in a production environment adhering to strict regulatory standards (Pharmaceutical or Food sector implied)
- Active involvement in project work related to setting up production lines (required for pre-production phase)
- Professional experience in maintaining safety and accident prevention regulations
