Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the entire server infrastructure, including managing VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, Windows Servers, and associated backup systems. Day-to-day duties include the configuration and monitoring of essential network services like DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory, alongside the maintenance of local Cisco switches, involving VLAN management and firmware updates. A key component of the role is ensuring global security standards (TISAX, ISO 27001, NIS-2) are met, managing the IT infrastructure asset lifecycle, and maintaining comprehensive system documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a completed education as an IT Specialist or an Information Technology degree, coupled with several years of professional experience in infrastructure support, strong knowledge of Cisco CLI, and proficiency in PowerShell or scripting for automation. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, supporting collaboration within the global IT team and handling 2nd-level support tasks.
