Job Summary

The Hanseatic Environmental Office in Lübeck is seeking a Technical Specialist in Environmental Protection to join their Building & Environment division. This role is crucial for assessing and evaluating environmental damage related to contaminated sites and land recycling, ensuring healthy living and working conditions through actionable recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in developing investigation concepts and sampling plans, conducting sampling on construction sites and in buildings, evaluating analysis results, performing scheduled measurements at groundwater monitoring points, and maintaining/calibrating measuring equipment. The ideal candidate holds a technical or scientific qualification (e.g., environmental or water supply technology) and must possess excellent German language skills (C1 minimum).
