Job Summary
The City of Murrhardt is seeking a full-time IT Specialist to join their Central Services division, focusing on maintaining and evolving the municipal IT infrastructure. This role involves comprehensive system administration, including managing Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, and the entire virtualization environment (ESX/VM-Ware). Key responsibilities also include network administration (routers, switches, WLAN, firewall), troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end-users, and actively participating in complex IT and digitalization projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in system integration, experience with network technologies, storage, and backup solutions (VEEAM), and be proficient in implementing and maintaining BSI-relevant security modules. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Informatics, specializing in System Integration, Bachelor of Arts – Public Management with a focus on Administrative Informatics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Experience in Windows Server, ESX-Server, VM-Ware, MS SQL, Active Directory, and Exchange
- Experience in network technologies (VLAN, Routing), Storage, Backup (VEEAM), and Firewalls
- Experience in implementing and maintaining BSI relevant modules
- Professional experience in IT procurement and introduction of new hardware/software solutions
- Ability to work independently and conceptually
