Job Summary

Join Stadtwerke Langen, a vital local utility driving the energy transition, as a Power Grid Planning Specialist. This crucial role involves taking responsibility for the concept, project, and execution planning of power distribution and control cable networks across medium and low voltage levels. Day-to-day tasks include planning network expansion, coordinating approvals for customer-owned systems (following DIN VDE 4105/4110 ff.), and conducting complex network calculations and connection point analyses to ensure future-proof grid development. You will actively support the digitalization of the low-voltage network and the implementation of the energy transition within network planning, adhering to regulatory requirements and valid standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree or qualification as a State-certified Technician, Master Craftsman, or Engineer in Electrical Engineering, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of power distribution regulations and experience using SAP, GIS systems, and network calculation software.
