Job Summary

This role involves independently moderating Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) within a medium-sized energy technology company near Nuremberg. The FMEA Moderator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting practical FMEA workshops, ensuring they are goal-oriented, efficient, and team-focused. A key part of the job is guiding interdisciplinary teams through the FMEA process, adhering strictly to current standards such as AIAG/VDA, FMEA Handbook, and IATF 16949. Day-to-day tasks include documenting all FMEA results in an audit-compliant manner, identifying and prioritizing risks, and implementing preventive measures to achieve sustainable risk minimization and process stabilization. The position also includes training and coaching team members on the effective use of Process FMEA, making strong moderation and communication skills essential. Candidates should possess a technical degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and have professional experience, ideally in the automotive sector or a comparable industry.
