Job Summary

This role is central to maintaining seamless and compliant laboratory operations within a leading biopharmaceutical CRDO. The Laboratory IT Specialist will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of laboratory IT systems and equipment, ensuring functionality, reliability, and strict adherence to GxP quality standards. Day-to-day duties involve providing critical on-site technical support, performing system maintenance (patching, updates), troubleshooting complex IT issues, and managing vendor relationships. A core focus is driving GxP compliant system validation and documentation, participating in audits, and implementing robust data integrity measures, including backup routines and disaster recovery plans. This position offers the opportunity to act as the key interface between scientific teams, IT infrastructure, and external software vendors, contributing directly to the continuous improvement of the technological laboratory environment and the acceleration of innovative drug development programs.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field. Certification in CSV, GxP compliance and/or LIMS is beneficial.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support and maintenance of laboratory systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of lab IT lifecycle management and preventive maintenance
  • Strong skills in providing on-site technical support
  • Experience with computer system validation
