Job Summary
This role involves driving the digital transformation agenda within the Lower Saxony Ministry for Social Affairs, Labor, Health, and Equality, specifically focusing on the implementation of the Digital Administration Lower Saxony (DVN) program and the Online Access Act (OZG). The successful candidate will strategically manage the rollout of these programs, develop foundational concepts, and support specialized departments in implementing online services, often leveraging the 'Once Only' principle (EfA). Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies for end-to-end digitalization of administrative services and representing the ministry in inter-departmental and inter-state digitalization committees. This position requires strong administrative and public sector experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a high degree of initiative to shape the digital future of the ministry through modern, secure, and service-oriented solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) in General Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent, OR successful completion of the Angestellten- or Verwaltungsprüfung II (Administrative Examination II)
Experience
- Minimum two years of professional experience in public administration work areas requiring the specified qualifications
- Experience in leading or participating in digitalization projects (beneficial)
