Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing a 15-person team responsible for steering all investment projects related to the drinking water pipeline network, from planning through construction, ensuring alignment with the rehabilitation strategy. The Head of Construction Network Management will coordinate comprehensive asset maintenance, oversee the hydraulic design of the network, and manage commercial control of contracts. Key responsibilities also include ensuring technical reporting, coordinating framework agreements, and managing structural maintenance of water supply buildings. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in underground construction) or related fields, coupled with deep expertise in water extraction and distribution processes, particularly within urban underground construction. This position requires strong leadership skills, decision-making ability, and profound knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (VOB/VOL, HOAI, environmental law).

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Underground Construction), Process Engineering (specializing in Pipeline Construction), or Industrial Engineering with relevant knowledge

Experience

  • Professional experience in water extraction and distribution procedures, especially in urban underground construction
  • Leadership experience required
  • Experience with legal foundations in construction, environmental, immission, waste, and nature conservation law
  • Experience with procurement law (VOB / VOL, HOAI)
