Job Summary

This role involves establishing and advancing strategic technical controlling within the Office for Youth and Social Affairs, particularly within the Finance, Controlling, and Special Services department. The specialist will be responsible for developing actionable recommendations based on controlling results and building, maintaining, and refining the internal information and reporting system for the office. Day-to-day tasks include managing integrated reporting for Lower Saxony, conducting key figure comparisons, and participating in relevant working groups. Key qualifications include a degree in Business Administration or equivalent administrative qualifications, strong knowledge of relevant social legislation (SGB VIII, IX, XII), and proficiency in standard IT applications. Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of a (Technical) University degree in Business Administration; OR qualification for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (formerly Higher General Administrative Service); OR successful completion as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/II. Angestelltenprüfung)

Experience

  • Professional experience in developing and maintaining strategic controlling systems
  • Professional experience in internal reporting and information management
  • Experience working with integrated reporting systems (e.g., Integrated Reporting Lower Saxony)
