Job Summary
This role involves taking responsibility for cross-sectional topics in Material Compliance and Recycling within vehicle engineering, from initial development through to vehicle delivery. Key responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating legal, normative, and customer-specific requirements related to chemical regulations and recycling (e.g., REACH, SCIP, POP, ISO 21106) for relevance in the railway industry. The specialist engineer will develop, implement, and harmonize relevant processes across all corporate structures, manage supplier technical documentation, and ensure compliance with mandatory declaration duties (REACH SVHC and SCIP). The ideal candidate holds a degree in natural sciences (e.g., Chemical Engineering) and possesses strong German (C1) and good English (B2) skills, along with experience in European chemical law and material compliance.
