Job Summary
This role is situated within a leading high-tech aerospace, security, and defense company, focusing on ensuring the seamless and secure operation of critical IT infrastructure within the development environment. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for administering servers (Windows and Linux), clients, storage, and network components. A key focus is the automation of configurations, deployments, and updates using scripting tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Furthermore, the role mandates the rigorous implementation of IT security requirements according to BSI Basic Protection standards, including regular backup control and administration of local test and integration facilities. Candidates must hold a technical degree (e.g., Computer Science) and demonstrate robust knowledge of networking, Active Directory, DNS, and CI/CD concepts. Fluency in both German and English is required to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service providers in this technologically advanced sector.
