Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced Industrial Electronics Technician and PLC Programmer to ensure the smooth operation of high-volume production and packaging systems for a leading German bakery manufacturer. Key responsibilities involve the programming of control systems, specifically using Siemens TIA Portal and Simatic Step 7, alongside the planning and development of new control concepts and coordinating projects for both new and existing machinery. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed fault and weakness analyses, troubleshooting, and conducting necessary electromechanical work to minimize downtime and secure production processes. The ideal candidate holds vocational training in a relevant electrical or automation field and possesses strong professional experience in automation technology, electrical design, and PLC/drive systems. Success in this position requires a high degree of flexibility, including the readiness for shift and weekend work, coupled with strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret technical schematics. The position offers a permanent contract, competitive tariff-based salary, a 38-hour work week, and extensive benefits.
