Job Summary

This role involves managing IT applications for a rapidly growing, internationally active company in the greater Leutkirch area. The IT Application Manager will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of software applications, from gathering requirements and selecting suitable IT solutions to developing processes, conducting tests, and implementing the software. A core component of the role is providing comprehensive consultation to specialist departments, managing interdisciplinary IT projects, and conceptualizing individual solutions. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring processes for performance, stability, and availability, assisting with backup concepts in collaboration with Infrastructure/IT Security, and creating documentation and conducting internal training. Candidates must possess a degree in IT or a related field, relevant professional experience in IT application or service management, and strong communication and teamwork skills, operating with a holistic mindset regarding cross-company development projects.
