Job Summary

This role involves taking charge of balancing group management for electricity and gas, including forecasting, creating spot bids, and supporting intraday trading within a leading municipal energy provider in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing consumption and generation data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (MaBiS / GaBi Gas), and managing data exchange with market partners. Key qualifications include a degree in Energy Economics, Business, or Engineering, coupled with deep knowledge of energy market processes (MaBiS, GaBi, GPKE, GeLi) and regulatory frameworks (EnWG, StromNZV, GasNZV). You will drive continuous process improvement, automate solutions, and handle reporting and documentation for management and regulatory authorities, requiring strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, particularly in the context of the energy transition.
