Job Summary

This role as a Functional Integrator for Navigation Systems involves crucial system integration and technical evaluation tasks for cutting-edge navigation technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the technical performance assessment and integration of navigation systems, meticulously reviewing technical specifications from system suppliers, and managing interface coordination with related technical disciplines. You will be responsible for drafting essential project documentation, such as technical offer specifications, test regulations, performance descriptions, and project management plans. A key part of the job is ensuring quality through conducting supplier audits and factory inspections, followed by planning and monitoring on-board commissioning and acceptance tests. Candidates must possess a completed degree in a relevant engineering field (Communications, Information, or Electrical Engineering) and demonstrated professional experience in navigation system design and project execution. Success requires strong system-wide thinking and professional proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
