Job Summary
This opportunity is for a dedicated Group Leader to join Hands for Kids, a provider of high-quality, needs-oriented childcare, as they establish a new bilingual (German/English) location in Wallisellen. You will take responsibility for an age-mixed group of children, spanning from three months up to school entry. A core part of the role involves building and maintaining trusting educational and relationship partnerships with parents. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the conceptualization and quality development of the bilingual program. The ideal candidate possesses a recognized Swiss qualification in childcare (FaBe K or equivalent) and exhibits strong organizational skills, responsibility, and team orientation. This position offers significant creative freedom from day one, allowing you to actively shape processes and the new site's development, supported by an open team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Childcare Specialist (FaBe K) or an equivalent qualification officially recognized in Switzerland.
Experience
- Professional experience managing an age-mixed childcare group
- Experience in establishing and maintaining educational partnerships with parents
- Experience in actively contributing to concept and quality development processes

- Must be self-reliant, structured, responsible, and team-oriented. Willingness to actively participate in building up the new Wallisellen location and shaping processes. Part-time employment (60% - 80%).
