Job Summary

This role involves supporting quality management, specifically within measurement technology, for a key player servicing OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the suitability of measuring devices, managing calibration and setup processes, and preparing, executing, and evaluating measurement orders for various stages of car body assembly. A core part of the job involves conducting measurement system analyses and machine capability studies, evaluating results using database software like PiWeb (Zeiss), and documenting findings for internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification in metalworking or a comparable field, possesses experience in 3D measurement technology—ideally within the automotive sector—and is comfortable operating CNC-guided measuring machines.
