Job Summary

This role involves leading an analytical laboratory, focusing on Quality Control (QC) for active ingredient production within the Pharma and Life Science sectors. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for the technical and organizational leadership of the lab, including developing robust commercial formulations and integrating effective equipment. Core duties include developing analytical methods, characterizing active ingredients, and creating testing documents and plans, all while strictly adhering to GMP guidelines. The position requires managing validation and qualification activities, handling change controls and deviations, and overseeing Life Cycle Management. Key qualifications include a PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Sciences or Biochemistry), professional experience in drug development, strong analytical and QC knowledge, and proven leadership skills. Excellent communication in both German and English is mandatory.
