Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, focusing on cutting-edge technologies within the aerospace industry. The professional will primarily support the Spacecraft Harness work package across phases BCD of space programs. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing customer and mission requirements, deriving specifications for harness manufacturers, and defining the functional and physical electrical wiring and geometric harness design in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering. Key responsibilities also include conducting critical analyses such as voltage drop and mass estimation, co-engineering with suppliers, and tracking design and MAIT activities. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and possesses initial professional experience in developing and manufacturing electrical interfaces and harnesses, preferably with experience in Space Engineering. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for this challenging and innovative position.
