Electrical Design Engineer | Elektrokonstrukteur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer who wants to drive technological advancement within complex machinery and automation systems. You will be responsible for defining requirements for networked modular machine systems, selecting critical electrical components (power supply, control, energy distribution, and operator safety), and managing the production introduction of new electrical assemblies in collaboration with the Operations team. A key focus involves ensuring compliance by reviewing international standards, particularly IEC/UL 61010, and supporting safety and EMC testing. The position requires technical leadership, managing internal or external electrical technicians, and representing the Mechatronics department in cross-functional project teams, ensuring quality and product safety throughout the development lifecycle, from ideation to design control. Candidates need a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least three years of professional experience, ideally with knowledge of medical technology.
