Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced electrical planner or engineer looking to specialize in custom-built special machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the comprehensive electrical project planning of bespoke machines according to client specifications, including calculating costs for electrical systems, dimensioning and selecting components, and creating all necessary manufacturing and customer documentation. You will serve as a key technical liaison, coordinating electrical designs with mechanical construction and software development teams from the initial draft phase through to final customer handover. Key qualifications include a strong electrical engineering or mechatronics background, expertise in automation technology (controls, drives, safety systems), and proficiency with engineering tools like WSCAD or EPlan.
