Job Summary
The Commissioning Service Technician is sought to join a team focused on advancing technology within the electrical and automation sectors for high-profile clients. This role involves the global commissioning of complex machine and plant components. Key daily responsibilities include performing electrical wiring, diagnosing and resolving technical faults using specialized tools like Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, and executing necessary mechanical work on system components. Candidates must possess a completed electrical engineering apprenticeship and further technician training, coupled with expertise in plant commissioning and electrical systems. A critical requirement is the willingness to undertake extensive worldwide travel, up to 50% of the time, with service assignments lasting a maximum of three weeks at a stretch. Strong German and good English language skills are essential for success in this demanding, project-oriented role.
