Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer looking to contribute expertise to large-scale shipbuilding and marine technology projects. Day-to-day responsibilities involve creating construction and testing documentation, maintaining device databases, and coordinating the procurement and selection of electrical assemblies and systems. You will play a key part in concept development, participate in technical negotiations with suppliers, and manage their performance delivery. A successful candidate will possess a degree or advanced qualification in Electrical Engineering (Technician/Master level) and bring several years of professional experience in electrical design for major projects, preferably in naval shipbuilding. Proficiency in CAD tools like TC NX, AutoCAD, or EPlan, coupled with strong German and good English skills, is essential for coordinating internal and external stakeholders to integrate systems effectively into the vessel.
