Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced Lecturer/Instructor to join the Materials Technology department of a leading institution specializing in welding technology, research, and professional training. The core responsibility involves the independent planning and execution of courses and lectures focused on Non-Destructive Materials Testing (NDT), strictly adhering to DIN EN ISO 9712 standards. Furthermore, the instructor will deliver training for welding supervisor personnel and actively contribute to the design and development of innovative teaching and learning materials for NDT education. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Engineering Sciences (such as Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science) coupled with strong knowledge of welding and testing technologies. Ideal candidates will hold Level 3 NDT certificates (especially in Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)) and have experience with personnel qualification, certification, and accreditation requirements (DIN EN ISO 17024). Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering Sciences (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Materials Science, or comparable). International Welding Engineer qualification is desirable. Level 3 certification in Non-Destructive Testing (RT and UT or multiple methods) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 is highly desirable.
