Job Summary

This role is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join a prominent client in the metal industry, focusing on commissioning and testing machinery and systems globally. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently conducting start-ups and performance tests at customer sites worldwide, providing comprehensive training to customers and operators, and troubleshooting functional malfunctions. The technician will also perform necessary adjustments for process optimization and occasionally assist with internal assembly work. Key qualifications require a completed technical education (Engineering or Technician in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering), at least five years of professional experience in mechanical and plant engineering, and strong proficiency in English. Expertise in PLC programming, specifically Siemens S7, and knowledge of process engineering are essential, along with a readiness for international travel.
