Job Summary
This role at RheinNetz GmbH, a regional electricity and natural gas grid operator in Cologne, Germany, involves coordinating and scheduling workshop and field activities for the technical grid service department. The technician will attend customer appointments in the Cologne area, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform measurements and fault clearance on transformers and power stations. Key responsibilities also include conducting factory acceptances, evaluating technical aspects of transformers, ensuring knowledge transfer, and developing expertise in areas like test fields and C-stations. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent qualification; Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machine Construction, or comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience with measurement techniques on distribution network transformers and test fields (desirable)
- Prior knowledge of medium and power transformers (110 kV) (advantageous)

- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for business; Valid Class CE driving license (can be financed by RheinNetz if not already held).
