Job Summary

This role seeks an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Special Purpose Machinery construction in the Nuremberg region. The core responsibilities involve creating comprehensive electrical designs for complex custom machines, utilizing EPLAN software extensively. Day-to-day tasks include selecting necessary components, generating detailed circuit diagrams, and compiling accurate bills of materials. A critical part of the job is drafting technical specifications and meticulously reviewing the circuit documentation provided by external suppliers. Furthermore, the designer is responsible for producing complete technical documentation and operating manuals. The ideal candidate must possess a strong electrical engineering background, demonstrated either through a completed apprenticeship with further training as a Master/Technician or a completed electrical engineering degree. Candidates must bring several years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably within the special purpose machinery sector. Routine proficiency with EPLAN is a mandatory requirement for success in this challenging and specialized engineering environment.
