This Research Scientist I position at Novartis in Basel offers a unique opportunity to drive cutting-edge oncology drug discovery within the Biomedical Research division, specifically focusing on Radioligand Therapy (RLT). The successful candidate will be an integral part of global projects, focusing on developing and characterizing novel in vivo oncology models and performing efficacy and biodistribution studies using RLTs. Day-to-day responsibilities involve hands-on work with rodent models, compound administration, and utilizing pre-clinical imaging modalities like PET/SPECT/uCT. This role requires a Master's degree in a relevant scientific field and practical experience working with animal models and open radioactive sources. Required Skills
Education
Masters degree in Pharmacology, Cell Biology, Medical Physics, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Experience
- Practical work experience in biomedical research from an industry or academic laboratory
- Experience in performing animal studies (animal handling, drug application, sampling, animal welfare regulations)
- Experience in working with open radioactive sources
