Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Waste Management Team Lead supporting Schönmackers in Siegburg, focusing on managing and optimizing waste streams—both hazardous and non-hazardous—at a client site. The successful candidate will lead a team of three employees, overseeing daily operational planning, ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety (DGUV) and environmental regulations, and coordinating internal waste collection processes. A critical component involves managing the logistics of dangerous goods transportation, including creating transport orders and utilizing the electronic waste verification system (eANV). Candidates must possess a technical or chemistry-related vocational qualification or degree, ideally coupled with professional experience in waste management or the chemical sector. Initial knowledge of environmental, hazardous materials, and dangerous goods law is essential.
