Job Summary

This role involves the operative planning and coordination of User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for critical digitalization projects, specifically within System Operations (MCCS), contributing directly to the energy transition across Germany and Europe. The manager will be responsible for building clear test processes, standards, and templates to ensure consistent test execution. Day-to-day activities include close collaboration with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Key Users to define test cases and scenarios, coordinate test runs, and manage documentation and defect tracking. A key focus is on ensuring transparency regarding test progress, risks, and sign-offs, while continuously developing and implementing efficient, modern testing methods and tools, including test automation strategies. Candidates must possess proven experience in UAT or Test Management, strong organizational skills, and an affinity for technology, working at the crucial interface between new digital solutions and end-users.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in User Acceptance Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Management with proven success
  • Experience with Test Management Tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Professional interest in new technologies and modern testing strategies (e.g., Test Automation)
